South Valley Academy promotes a commitment to excellence in education and life by developing student character foundations that improve the lives of our middle schoolers, their families, and the Phoenix, AZ, communities in which they live. It begins with the development of character skills for students that reflect our core values. These six character traits are the values we instill in all of our students, staff, and families.

High Expectations as an Individual
Having core values is just the beginning of the journey. Developing these core values into a lasting character foundation for all our Phoenix, AZ, students is how we believe success is achieved. The development of character strength involves students, teachers, parents, and leadership figures. Our staff has seen that students who enjoy successful lifelong endeavors are those who have reliable, positive role models in a variety of life contexts, starting at an early age.

Producing Results as a Team
Establishing personal core values and leading oneself is the beginning of having a great impact on a team. A team is built from strong individual contribution, support, and commitment. As a team, WE IMPACT our school, our Phoenix, AZ, community, and beyond. We empower one another to make changes and produce results as a team.
